Marlon Gonzalez is a San Francisco cat who somehow found his way to the Hudson Valley—or at least northern New Jersey. He is an artist and photographer who also spins records. Host DJ Pete Pop asked him to be the special guest DJ for the May Do The 45 at Quinn’s—which took place on Friday May 9. He played some great soul and funk records that kept the Quinnsters jumpin’.

Pete Pop played his usual groovy shit. Seems every time he plays records, he seems to play something so boss, yet previously unheard by the Boogaloo Bag writers; it expands the old want list!

Miss Nancy baked some chocolate chip cookies and chex mix. That stuff was gone quick!!! Bella Bombora danced around on the raised dance floor and was often joined by some of the local color.
